Paul Jacobs, the lead partner in the noted Denver-based law firm, Jacobs Chase, and University of Denver alum, will have something new to smile – or oogle at – this Fall. His daughter-in-law, Amy Jacobs, a respected and well-known Jewish community leader, and Jacob’s youngest son, Craig, have announced that this swank couple is expecting their second baby in September (Jacobs and granddaugter, Sophia, pictured left).
Jacobs, who is generally credited with being the “driving force” in leading Colorado’s Major League Baseball bid to bring the Rockies to Denver, said at a dinner party attended by DCN that he is "excited" to become a grandfather for the fifth time.
Many Coloradoans may not have known that Jacobs served as the Vice President and General Counsel of the Colorado Rockies from the franchise’s start in 1991 through January 1995. Because of Jacob’s huge success, he has parlayed his experience to help build a new ballpark for the San Diego Padres.
Ed. Note: DCN is excited to be an aunt for the second time too!
