9News Entertainment Reporter, Kirk Montgomery, has reported today that an environmental rock concert at Red Rocks will symbolize the "unofficial" kick-off of the Democratic National Convention in Colorado.
The concert, slated for Sunday, August 24th, will feature local and national performances and Montgomery reports that the DNC host committee is in "talks" with eco-guru (and Mizzou alumna) Sheryl Crow and country superstars, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
Most Coloradans will agree that Red Rocks (pictured below) will serve as the perfect backdrop for when the world's attention is focused on our state.
