Finally, DCN is excited to report a local American Idol connection! Crush quarterback John Dutton's sister-in-law is Idol contestant Kristy Lee Cook (Dutton's wife is Cook's sister).
Cook (pictured right) made it though by the skin of her teeth last night, which surprised fans who were certain she would be the next to go after her annoying country rendition of Beatles' classic "Eight Days a Week."
Apparently, Dutton appeared on ESPN's The Hotlist yesterday to discuss Cook's performance - and probably talk a little Crush football as well.
While DCN is not a big fan of Cook, DCN's husband does think "she's easy on the eyes."
